As of Today, We begin our 18th Year of Designing, Creating, and Producing Custom Special Events, Floral Designs, Furnishings, and Props for those truly looking for a memorable and impressive, one of a kind experience.
Founded nearly two decades ago in the Garden District of New Orleans, Phil McKinney and Roland Montealegre opened the doors to Urban Earth, “Flowers, Pottery, Plants and Other Things for Your Space.” Our original studio and retail operation occupied 1,100 square feet and the work table doubled as the office.
Less than two years later, UE expanded across Jackson Avenue into a 1850s historic property with more than 6,000 square feet of space and more than a dozen team members. In keeping with our “Art Room with Flowers” environment, the studio even hosted monthly art exhibitions.
Maintaining our botanical “roots”, Urban Earth’s floral designs continue to be the country’s most creative and as we’ve expanded over the years to event design, furnishings/props, graphics and production UE still calls the New Orleans Garden District home in the historic Dixie Web Printing Company building located on nearby Terpsichore Street, housing our specialized studios.
